Draw this Again: Druid's aureole by Lenamo.art by LenamoArt Draw this Again: Druid's aureole by Lenamo.art by LenamoArt

It was a busy year. I've painted so many pictures! And I really want to thank all the people who supported me during this time on Patreon, via commissions, and of course heart warming and encouraging comments. If not you it wouldn't be possible! <3

This concept was definitely worth revisiting. Love the changes. Hope you are proud of your progress. :D

Yes I am! I'm using this picture in all my art related accounts, and I love it. It was my final choice for my personal page banner! Glad so many people like this portrait as well <3

Hmm. Unlike your previous poster, I very much like the warmer and more human details of the new version; she seems more, hmm, present rather than vacant, and it gives the work more depth and power.

Both are beautiful, but I like the old one more. I mean, the new one is definitely more detailed, but that's the problem: she has become more real, mundane, her facial expression has got some spark, richness, fullness.
Old one is so serene, so god-like, her expression is detached from mundane problems, like she just has come from somewhere not of this world, she has come to tell us about something important... My gaze is fixed on the face and the feeling, but I see her glowing as goddess (I mean, just looking at her face we still see/feel this radiant light).

And when I look at the second one, my gaze wanders over the details of her face, hair and golden nimbus, but radiant light lost it's radiance somehow.

There are details I still need to work on a little bit.  The light seems less radiant because there is no dark shadow on her chest - I need to fix it.
